F.A.Q.

What would a private session with you look like?
You would lie down with your eyes closed, while I send positive energy your way. Most report feeling it, occasionally they don’t. Whether you feel it or not, it’s going in.

Next, I would call you on the phone and describe to you how to maintain the energy shift. This coaching phone call takes thirty minutes.

I wouldn’t just shift your energy like other Reiki Practitioners, but I would COACH you how to do it yourself. This is what makes me different.

During this 30 minute coaching session, I would type up notes to what we’re talking about. This “homework” like some people call it, will give you enough to chew on for at least a month.

Most people have no need to hire me on an ongoing basis. Because one session is so effective, I stay in business through referrals.

How much does a session cost?
This dollar amount sounds like a lot, but it can save you from being addicted to one modality you go to once a week for the rest of your life. It’s teaching you to fish rather than selling you a fish.

$500. I occasionally give scholarships. If you’d like to donate to the scholarship fund: please use this paypal link.

Am I being called to be a Reiki Practitioner?

Do you feel yucky? Are you tired after being in crowds? Would you like use your skill to serve others rather than make yourself miserable? You might be an empath. You might learn to control and utilize this gift in serving others.

Girl, you crazy.
That isn’t a question, but I appreciate the sentiment. I understand that I do things differently than others, but it works for me and my clients. I’d love to teach you a new way of doing things, and new stuff can be scary.

Do I have to believe in Reiki for it to work? Do I need to have “faith?”

No. You don’t have to believe in it to work. The more open you are the better, but belief isn’t required. It’s not attached to any religion.

I’m a Christian. Is Reiki considered witchcraft?

Reiki isn’t remotely like witch craft. It’s closer to acupuncture. If you think acupuncture goes against your religion, then it might not be for you.

I’m a witch. Does Reiki go against my religion?

No. This is a religion neutral practice.

I don’t believe in God or any religion. Do I need to in order to practice or receive Reiki?

Again, Reiki isn’t a religion. It’s more similar to acupuncture and meditation. It’s more like I’m meditating for you or on your behalf and sending you the positive energy.

I’m LDS, does Reiki go against my religion?

The LDS church in their policies and procedures manuals state that it is ok to use alternative healthcare if it meets the following requirements. 1- The practitioner is certified and had to go through a certification process. 2- There must be at least two articles in peer-reviewed journals supporting the efficacy of the treatment modality. 3- Educate yourself and use the spirit to discern if it is right for you. Reiki meets the above requirements and standards of the LDS church. Many Reiki Practitioners are LDS themselves.
